    All Friends

What is your position in the coffee industry?

    barista, coffee enthusiast

Where are you located? ( City and Country )

    Raleigh, NC

How many years have you been in the industry?

    two years

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?

    maybe

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I worked for Phoenix Coffee Company, a small independent roastery with 5 cafes and wholesale in the greater Cleveland area. I was with this (really really awesome) company for about a year and a half before relocating to Raleigh, where I work for Cafe Helios, an independent cafe serving Counter Culture.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

All of them! I'd love to experience working as a professional barista in Italy.

    About Me:

I'm 25, your standard espresso nerd. I like thrifted clothes but I don't have any ironic tattoos.....yet.

    About My Company:

I still and probably will always consider myself a Phoenixer, which is, in my opinion, one of the best companies in the entire world. Cafe Helios is a close-knit group of enthusiastic people who love coffee. Getting to know the folks at Counterculture as a result of working at this cafe has also been a giant plus.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

environmentally and socially conscious, progressive, fun, full of people who actually give a shit about what they're doing. Plus we're all so good-looking.
