Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
For the past 2 years I have worked for Whole Foods Market as a coffee specialist. My job entailed: *Choosing, purchasing and stocking coffee for retail and creating and maintaining attractive displays. *Processing all invoices and credits and achieving and surpassing sales and margin goals. *Establishing relationships with vendors and arranging weekly demonstrations of their product as well as participating in regional promotions programs. *Maintaining coffee back stock and controlling spoilage as well as participating in monthly inventories.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I just recently moved to Athens, GA and I would love to find a position here!
About Me:
I am an outgoing and friendly individual who is used to working in fast paced conditions and who is committed to outstanding customer service. I am dependable, hardworking and highly motivated but I also love to have a good time with good people and I strive to create a positive environment for myself and those around me. With four years of experience in customer service based jobs, I have exceptional organizational and interpersonal communication skills as well as an outstanding ability to solve problems. I have never been a barista before but I'm a fast learner and I would love to try this aspect of the job. I am also VERY interested in learning the ins and outs of the roasting side of the industry. As a child, my parents owned their own coffee shop where they roasted their own beans so ever since I was little I've been fascinated by the industry. Also, freshly ground coffee is the best smell in the world!
