Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I worked for Starbucks in downtown Olympia, which opened my world to more fantastic coffeehouses and how the world can be engaged through coffee. Its a beautiful thing. I started volunteering at a small local coffee stand to help a friend, and now I work as a receptionist and volunteer at church, pulling oh, so delicious shots. I have excellent interpersonal savvy, and I have gained an understanding of how to pull espresso from different people. I feel like I have had Barista 101 and 102 courses, but I want more than anything to get more hands on training.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All over. Really. If someone wants to take time to teach me and would like an apprentice of sorts to mold into an espresso prodigy - I am there!
About Me:
I love my downtown. I love learning about people and encouraging them. I am interested in trying new things. I like the way I am not extremely good at anything but don't get scared of jumping from the sewing machine to a rock climbing wall.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Coffee is the catalyst to invading people's lives - that is supersweet!
