Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

After working as a Certified Coffee Master/Barista for Starbucks for I decided to open my own coffee house, Caffe Dolce. My shop is currently being outfitted and is scheduled to open September 2011. The focus of Caffe Dolce will be on the art of traditional hand crafted espresso and coffee beverages with all shots pulled manually. While working for Starbucks I longed for an outlet to display my skill and knowledge as a barista, and and sadly that meant leaving Starbucks. I am optimistic, excited, and somewhat nervous about opening my own coffee house. Hopefully, my passion as a barista and my love of the art of coffee will bring my shop success.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I am looking forward to my first trip to Italy, in December.
