    Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

    When I first started as a barista I had already been studying coffee as a hobby. Now, however, I have discovered that coffee is my true passion and I hope to continue working in the business long-term. I have mastered the more common pours of latte art and am working on the advanced pours. I constantly work on extracting espresso, texturing milk, and working on flavor combinations that go well with our espresso blend here at Daybreak. Daybreak is a great place to work and the customers and staff here are great, however, the quality and training part is lacking but Jason has done a great job helping to progress both of those for the better. I hope to do what I can to educate those who take an interest and of course to further my own coffee knowledge.


    What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

    Portland, Seattle, Chicago, New York...honestly anywhere but Lubbock.


    About Me:

    I am currently a barista and student. I attend school at Texas Tech University and I am majoring in psychology and philosophy. I grew up in small-town Texas where the coffee culture is nowhere to be seen but somehow I have been pulled in.
