Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I'd say I am more of a beginner when it comes to coffee making. I know how to pull a good shot of espresso and brew a good cup of coffee, and I know how to describe describe coffee to an extent--on a basic level, but enough to seem moderately impressive. Latte art is fun, but I need more practice to go beyond rosetta leaves and hearts.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I'm a Minnesotan. I lived and worked at a coffee shop in Northern Kentucky, and while there, I realized how great Minnesota is. Unless something huge comes along, I think I'm pretty firmly planted in Minneapolis, MN. I would like to travel to Europe and Africa, though. Sometime.
About Me:
I'm just an Average Joe with an interest in coffee. Outside of that, my time is divided between music, local shows, films, and hanging out with good people here in the Twin Cities. I'm planning on going to school, and am working on a plan to get me started with my goal of opening up my own coffee shop. We'll see what happens.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I like the way coffee brings people together and creates community. I like being a small part of what brings people together.
