Naturally since coffee is a global good and enjoyed to some extent by every country in the world, I look forward to traveling anywhere and everywhere.
About Me:
I am a barista at Burgie's Coffee and Tea Co. I have worked behind the scenes and behind the counter for 12 years. I am a coffee and espresso enthusiast and devote a majority of my time learning about coffee from the birth of a cherry to the finished cup. I have worked intimately with espresso for 10 of my 12 years at Burgie's Coffee and Tea Co. and am currently marketing and international business with a minor in Spanish
About My Company:
Our story began in 1983 when we first experienced the wonder of the cafe culture of Vienna, Austria. It was there we noticed coffee's remarkable ability to inspire people. We wanted to create the same stimulating environment on our return to Iowa-because we love how a perfectly brewed cup can bring people together for meaningful conversation. Coffee has a mystical way of uniting its drinkers in the pursuit of knowledge and friendship alike. Burgie's continuously strives for excellence in our coffee. We achieve this by selecting the finest quality Arabica beans from countries of origin the world over. These precious beans are painstakingly roasted under the watchful eye of our skilled artisan roasters who combine artisan craftsmanship with science as they develop our beans in the roasting process to achieve the exact specifications of our roast profiles. At Burgie’s we are purveyors of extraordinary coffee, promoters of the lifelong pursuit of wisdom and believe that everyone has a story worth telling. As we passionately pursue these ideals, we want to make a difference in the world. Whether that’s helping individuals in need or supporting causes close to our heart, we are grateful for how coffee and our customers provide us the opportunity to pursue our vision.
