I manage the New (ish) Albina Press on upper Hawthorne in Portland. And what a joy it is!!!
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Belarus, the Czech Republic, Alabama, Guatemala, Vietnam, Coney Island, wherever Ben Voldman lives, Idaho, any coffee growing region.
About Me:
I'm from Pocatello, Idaho where I started in Coffee in 1997 at the College Market, the ONLY good coffee for miles around. Live in Portland, Oregon now and manage the South Albina Press, where dreams are made. I do have other interests but no time to enjoy them, with the exception of my girlfriend April, "stepdaughter" Esmerelda Joe, some writing, working on VW's and at the moment a crack-head level addiction to LOST.
About My Company:
Six years ago a little coffee shop called the Albina press timidly opened its doors on Albina street in Portland. Armed with little more than a dream and their extraordinary good looks, baristi such as Ben Voldman, Kevin Fuller and others rose from total obscurity to international mega-stardom. Now ... the legend continues at the new Press on upper Hawthorne Blvd! Bigger. Stronger. Faster.
