Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work in a busy little café and bakery called 'Espresso Avellino' that owns a two-group Gaggia Orione 1G- U machine from the mid-seventies. It's a lot of fun to work on, despite being a bit temperamental at times. We serve coffee roasted locally by 'The Lotus Company'. I also work the morning bar at the 'Old World Deli' where we have a two-group La Marzocco Linea and serve Caffé Vita espresso and single origin French Press.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would love to travel to Latin America for a tour of coffee growing facilities.
About Me:
Aside from being an avid drinker of coffee, I am an artist and musician and active participant in our local arts community. I currently work from my studio at Jinx Art Space, in Bellingham, WA.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
more focus on single origin, direct trade, and pour-over brew methods!
