Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Most of my skill was gained with hands on 'training' at Cycle Oregon, an event we sponsor. We do 200-250 espresso drinks in the span of 2.5 hours every morning. Since the 1st event 5 yrs ago i've taken barista training classes, observed awe inspiring baristas in action, and am now comfortable offering an entry level 'Barista 101' class to our customers.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Brazil, Central and South American Countries, and anywhere else that life my open the doors to.
About Me:
Grew up in Brazil, moved to the States for College, met pretty girl, stayed with pretty girl. Got tired of corporate engineering job, got inspired by my family's 5th generation, cup of excellence winning coffee, and decided to start Nossa Familia Coffee - focusing on single orign 'family traded' coffees
About My Company:
We work with my family to select and reserve the 'cream of the crop' each year. We also purchase Organic coffees from other family farms in the 'Sul de Minas / Mogiana' region, and sometimes from the Cerrado. We work with a local roaster here in Portland to bring out the best in our beans, and we distribute locally and online.
