Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
We love great coffee. So much of what you get these days is often not hot enough or too bitter or too weak, or even worse, all three! That’s why we have a trained barista on all of our manually operated coffee machines (not one of those push button types seen elsewhere) who will have been graduated through our coffee training programme. It’s also why we have a unique blend of fairly traded coffee which our customers love! And of course, we use organic milk, fresh from our local community. We are expanding at an organic rate in the UK - we have a piaggio cart opening at the Norfolk & Norwich hospital in Februray 2008 followed by the opportunity to open a permament cart position in the centre of Oxford. Also, we love attending country shows, events, music festivals and anywhere else where our coffee is much appreciated! We are passionate about providing the best coffee in the UK and would love to hear from likeminded travellers who fancy working at one of our locations whilst in the UK.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Unfortunately, due to our business commitments we cannot leave the UK at present.
About Me:
Barney & Pete's Coffee is owned by Barney, 39, a trained tea taster and passionate about tea and coffee. Pete, 31 is equally in love with the devil's brew and worked and trained with a great UK coffee company before Starbucks took over! Originally from London and Oxford respectively, we now live in beautiful North Norfolk in a picture postcard village minutes from the sea.
