Actively developing skills required to establish micro-roastery & associated concept(s). Attended American Barista & Coffee School 7/19-24/2009...off to a good start but so much more to learn.

About Me:

I'm in love with roasting, actively pursuing development of my skills. Other interests include snow sports, cycling, running, backpacking.

About My Company:

Currently "in gestation". Roasting is the passion that supports and drives whatever this becomes. Themes include premised baking, local sourcing of food & beverage components where feasible, and social/environmental responsibility. Objective is blending themes to serve tourist and local trade well - enabled by and showcasing world-class coffee roaster "right here in Maine".

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

It is multi-faceted, interesting, and complex in good and interesting ways
