Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My wife, brother in law and myself bought an existing coffee shop in September of 2004. Since then we have totally redone the everything having to do with the shop from every barista, to the beans to the location. We have made it our own. We have tried thousands of products over the years trying to find the highest quality for the best price. I am willing and wanting to give my advice to anyone I can help, but I am always looking to improve my business, we are wanting to expand to more locations, trying anything and everything to get more customers in the door and retaining the ones we have. The Mocha Lounge is my coffee shop. We employ seven along with myself, my wife and my Brother in law who works part time at the shop. We serve some food, a hugh variety of espresso drinks, smoothies, frappes, bubble teas, etc.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I want to travel, usually I try to stay around the midwest because of time and money, but if the right opportunity comes up I am willing to go the extra mile, or 1000.
About Me:
I am 29 married with 2 little girls. I am in love with coffee and the business, but I am at a point where it is hard to find time and money to make my business better. I am always stuck behind the bar trying to make the best drinks possible for our customers. I pride myself in my customer interactions, and selling ability. I have been in retail and and or the restaurant business for 14 years, and coffee for over 3. I am always thinking, planning, and evaluating my shop. Some times it gets in the way of my family time, but I have a love for it that is hard for others including my wife to understand. I wanted to join this exchange to better my business, find other people that is going through the struggles that I have and to help those that I can.
About My Company:
S corporation, 3 owners, me, Brian my wife Rachel and brother in law Kris. We opened our doors in September of 2004 and moved locations in June 2007. We employ 7, are open 364 days of the year. Also do some off site catering. Love our customers, they are the best!
