Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I have worked as a supervisor and trainer in Costa coffee, for four years, and was a Barista Maestro there. I am now working for a Nero's store in Sale, near Manchester and I am soon to be a manager in training there.

About Me:

I am really passionate about coffee, I have worked in the industry for many years, minus a few months interjection working in a bank, for some reason. I have a degree, and live in central Manchester. I aim eventually to have my own store, but I am working my way up the hierarchy at Caffe Nero, to gain some experience in management and also to secure some funding for my future plans.

About My Company:

I work for Caffe Nero at the moment, however, was trained through years in Costa. Nero's seem to have the finger more on the pulse in terms of customer service etc. etc. however, in my own experience Costa requires a greater level of Barista skills for it's employees. However, I'm happy as long as I can get some time to myself to play around with coffee and milk, refining my skills.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

I love the skill required, the artistic flare and the variety of things you can do with coffee and milk
