I have been a barista for 11 years. Learning as much as I can along the way. currently I have my heart set on learning to roast! We will see where that goes.

About Me:
When I got my first job at a coffee house I was 19. In college and just paying the bills. I remember telling my mom..."what, do you really think I'm going to be working in a coffee house when I'm 30?" Somehow thinking thats the worst thing that could happen. Low and behold I fell in love with coffee. I get excited using new products and figuring out how to use them. One time a customer made me a bottomless portafilter and I swear it was better than christmas. Lets see....I live on Kauai with my husband (who by the way is adorable and an amazing chef). I like to visit my friends coffee farm and hang out with the trees.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
that you are allowed to be passionate about coffee and you are'nt alone.
