Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

Our coffee shop is located in Old Town Camarillo and is currently going through a remodel. We are on our way to being a specialty coffee shop - putting out quality products, backing off on sweeteners and syrups, and drawing out the taste of coffee. We are getting back to the basics of coffee. I am growing in my barista skills - pulling excellent shots, steaming great milk, and getting better and better with my latte art. I absolutely love visiting other coffee shops and seeing how they do things.

About Me:

I grew up on a farm in Illinois and I moved to California in August of 2007 to work part-time at a church doing youth ministry, upon graduating from Bible College. At the same time I started working at Palermo Coffee, now Element Coffee in Camarillo. I love working with people, specifically youth and young adults, and connecting with them.
