What is your position in the coffee industry?

    barista, coffee enthusiast

Where are you located? ( City and Country )

    Staunton, Va, United States

How many years have you been in the industry?

    3

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?

    no

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I started doing coffee at Dunkin' Donuts. I transfered into a local, artsy coffee shop where I learned more about latte art and coffee preference. I then transfered to Charlottesville Va to potentially be trained more on the expresso bar. I am transferring back to Staunton and putting it on hold.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

    any where artsy and fun

    About Me:

My name is Charley. I am a painter, model, barista, and dancer. I enjoy all forms of art and am very active in the arts community in staunton and surrounding areas. I model live for drawings and painting. I dance with fire. I paint often and I try to filter all of that artistic influence into my latte art. I have been as extreme to write FUCK YOU on lattes, and as cute to put butterflys. OH the dynamics.

    About My Company:

I am a barista at Blue Mountain Coffee in Staunton Va. We are located in the art of the downtown art community in Staunton. We always have art on the walls and encourage creativity, as well as promote for local bands, musicians, artists, and other events. There is never a dull moment in this place, and the atmosphere is undeniable. The owner of Blue Mountain is one of the funniest, kindest peopleI have ever met. She will talk with you about anything and everything. We also play music, nonstop.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The customers, all are usually artistic. I mean you know someone is smart when you ask, why do you go to coffee shops? why don't you just brew your coffee at home? and they say... Are you kidding?
