Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
The shop I work at is Blackbird Coffee. We are a small batch roastery. We pull delicious doubles and cater to the sugar addicts as well. We try our best to make each cup the best.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Interested in Italy for the coffee museum. Chicago again, to visit the Intelli's Roaster, and honestly anywhere that would let me watch them roast. I am the head/ only roaster for my shop currently and I feel I have only scratched the surface of what I can learn.
About Me:
The reason that I am in this industry still is the people. 5 years is long enough to let you see the good, the bad, the pretty and the ugly, and while all four of those exist in any place, I have seen far more of the positives in this industry than the negatives, and I am constantly inspired by my peers.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
the creativity that remains allowed even in the midst of all of the much needed scientific advancements
