About Me:

A liberal arts grad student in Santa Fe, NM, I accidentally in love with coffee a while back. I've worked in a few different shops of all sorts for a little over 6 years: at a Mall Kiosk as assistant manager, at a Port City Java as an opener, at a little sandwich and coffee shop I helped open as a manager and finally as an opener at City Dock Cafe in Annapolis. Right now I'm working part-time as a teacher at the public schools but, hopefully, I'll make my way back into the coffee scene either as a barista or roaster or, fingers crossed and knock on wood, as an owner of a cafe. Recently I've been attending a lot of cuppings to hone my palate. Interested in learning in finer detail how coffee makes it from, say, Brazil, to, say, Annapolis; it might be something I want to take part in, who knows?

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The artisanship. Either that or the bringing about of Cafes.
