Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I am a college student at the University of Arkansas, and I'm a barista at Onyx Coffee Lab in Fayetteville, AR. I've been working there for a year, and really love it. I'm not certified or anything like that as a barista, although I would love to be someday. I've really loved my experience in the specialty coffee industry, and would love to be able to explore more of it.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I'm interested in traveling literally anywhere. Seriously.

About Me:

I'm a college student who stumbled upon the specialty coffee industry a year ago, and I love it. I love being a barista and sharing my knowledge and passion for coffee with our customers. Along with great coffee, I also love great beer, and being outdoors. I'm a newbie rock climber. I'm passionate about seeing the issue of modern-day slavery and human trafficking end. I want to do everything to the glory of Jesus Christ. He makes my life worth living.

Onyx Coffee Lab was started in Springdale, AR in 2012, and is leading the way for the specialty coffee industry in Northwest AR.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

I love people. I love the way that coffee and everything about it can link people and make community.
