Small rural tourist area drive thru and limited seating shop. We provide a larger seating area for the warmer months on a deck overlooking the lake. Breakfast baked goods and brewed coffee also offered. Have just started mobile catering for events and weddings with espresso bar and baristas. Small staff of 6. All long term employee. Open 7 days a week!

About Me:

Owner of Coffee Therapy. Was a west coast resident and moved to Michigan to be closer to family. Opened the shop one year later based on Oregon coffee shops.

About My Company:

Have had to educate much of the community on espresso and all it includes. Very rural area with folgers as a staple. Am starting small with the future plan to make shop a destination location for lake traffic and unique shop out in "the middle of nowhere". Emphasize friendly service and learning about coffee's and customers. Very unique for this area. People drive 20 min. to come to shop. Only shop within 10 miles in all directions. We focus on using only Michigan roasted coffees and USA products as much as possible.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The social and community building emphasis.
