As a professional barista and specialty coffee consultant, I am always looking and striving for quality in a cup of coffee. It’s fair to acknowledge that, we are ingesting a liquid into our bodies and thus how coffee is crafted does matter. While many may not seem interested in becoming coffee connoisseurs or worry about what type of coffee they buy, it is my belief that it’s all about perception and how we can instigate curiosity. People always love to know a bit more about a subject than their peers. For example, one can have an edge on someone else about wine.
