Periodilluminations featuring Marcella June's Coffee Lounge is a unique concept in that I am able to display and sell my restored antique light fixtures/lamps as well as my Art Glass lighting pieces that have been handcrafted in my own glass kiln. The coffee shop itself is set in a 1940's - 1950's style atmosphere and believe it or not is named after my Mother - Marcella June Zaloudek. I have excelled as a Starbucks Barista for the past 3 years in San Diego and have been named "Partner of the Quarter" 3 different times by my Barista peers. My standout skill really is Customer Service. I have customers that pass a good number of Starbucks and coffee shops just to come and enjoy their beverage with me. My customers are really my "coffee family".
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I love to travel so I would travel anywhere.
About Me:
I am 57 years of age and have a domestic partner (Brian) of 7 years. I was married for 21 years previously and have a 34 year old daughter and 28 year old son as well as a 1 year old granddaughter. I am a spiritually connected, emotionally available, honest, trustworthy, unconditional, passionate, fun-loving, spontaneous type of guy who loves to share myself, talents, and gifts of life with others.
About My Company:
Marcella June's Coffee Lounge was created to honor my love of coffee and my family. I have worked at a Starbucks for 3 years and my coffee shop manager is currently an Assistant Manager at my Starbucks and has been a Starbucks employee for 11 years. We are taking all the good things we have learned from Starbucks and putting our own individual passions into the coffee lounge. Our lounge is located close to the San Diego State University campus as well as a vibrant diverse neighborhood.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The varieties of single source and blended coffees.
