very frequent coffee shop guest not very experienced as a barista or running a coffee shop.
About Me:
Retired from 30 years retail management experience primarily in hard lines. Looking for interesting career change and in transition. I'm a coffee shop/culture enthusiast that would like to have my own coffee shop in the future.I frequent the local coffee shop daily to have coffee with my friends and meet new ones. All my friends I have now I've met that that coffee shop. Got a job at the OTHER local coffee shop to learn more about independent coffee shop business and how it's run from behind the counter and learn to become a barista but feel I need more professional and formal training.
About My Company:
Five years out from opening a coffee shop of my own. Want to immerse myself in the business and the culture until grand opening day. The company is in the creation and incubation stage and currently gathering facts and information about the coffee industry.
