Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Our managers are a mother and daughter team who opened the cafe with the name Ubuntu. This is an Afrikaans term that means togetherness, family, friendship, everything we strive for at Ubuntu Cafe and Bakery. We are a small cafe located inside our community library. As a barista, I have been trained to pull espresso shots, steam and foam milk, make coffee through a pour over system with our fresh ground beans. Etc. Our coffee shop is also highly interested in making little effect upon the environment, by lessening the severity of our ecological footprint. We try to make sure everything is biodegradable, recycled, or used for compost (something that will be coming in the spring and summer). The best way to describe the cafe, is it is quite literally my 3rd family.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I am HIGHLY interested in checking out Stockholm, Sweden :) If not there, I really would not mind going anywhere in Europe. I have interests in languages and language exchange, and Europe is a great place for that, as the countries are so diverse with languages.
About Me:
I am in my last year of highschool and will be graduated in June. My hobbies include music, reading and writing, as well as some sciences and studies in Psychology. In my free time, I like to research a broad variety of topics such as Psychology, Greek Myths, etc. Anything that interests me at the time, I will definately research. I also know how to knit scarves xD.

As a recently opened cafe, we arent exactly a company. We're just a business at the moment.
