I currently work at Aster Coffee Lounge in Ballard which serves coffee from both Intelligentsia and Novo. Our espresso is lovingly made on a Synesso machine and drip coffee from the Clover. Aster also has a great selection of beer and wine. The overall environment is clean, comfortable and inviting.
About Me:
I have been in the service industry for 15 years. First as a barista then moving into bartending. I recently have returned to coffee and in the last eight months with the guidance of my new boss and co-worker i have found my love for coffee once again. It is so exciting to be learning more and more every day about the coffee industry as well as becoming a better barista with every shot pulled and every pitcher steamed.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love the complex and delicate process that takes seed to the finished product- a great tasting cup of coffee with a beautiful presentation.
