Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I spent the first 6 years of my coffee experience working for Caribou Coffee, where I was a shift supervisor, assistant manager, and regional trainer of new employees in metro Detroit. For over a year, I was employed by Espresso Royale, in Ann Arbor, MI. Currently, I am at Lab Cafe in Ann Arbor (labcafe.tumblr.com).
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Any- and everywhere.
About Me:
I am in my mid-20s. I have a degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan, with a minor in medical anthropology, but for the time being, I'd rather sling some high-quality dirty water (preferably with a nice crisp rosetta or tulip on top).
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The discontent with constancy; the neverending tweaking of methods and materials; the science.
