Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I've been involved with coffee for over 6 years now and it's been a remarkable journey and learning experience. I am currently honing my passion for coffee at the beautiful Cafe Demitasse in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Being part of a professional setting such as Demitasse has given me so much freedom to experiment with different brewing techniques and advance my knowledge and appreciation of the entire crop to cup process.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Well, there's no place like L.A. and I wouldn't trade it for any city in the world, but I would certainly love to travel to awesome places like Portland, Seattle, Costa Rica, Brazil, Italy, Ethiopia, and everywhere in between!!! Maybe where you live too!!!

In all seriousness though, I have a tremendous appreciation for all things coffee, from the hard work it takes to cultivate it to the passion it takes to make it come to life through various brewing methods. Besides coffee, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful love Betty, my cat Socks, watching obscure B-Movies late at night, buying and reading books from thrift stores, and listening to the endless amounts of vinyl in my room (and on the floor).

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The industry is always evolving and we have to be prepared to grow and evolve with it.
