We have cafes in 55 of our 153 stores. We are currently looking for a Director of Cafe Operations. Responsibilities: • Leading all operational and developmental aspects of the Hardback Coffee Café (HBCC) • Creating and leading all HBCC strategic marketing and business development • Building the organization and systems to support the operation and growth of all current and future Hardback Coffee Cafés • Creating and ensuring consistency within all Hardback Coffee Cafés • Assisting in the recruitment and development of HBCC Team Leaders and Baristas in new and remodeled café locations • Training and assisting District Leaders in overseeing operations of cafés • Ensuring company-wide customer satisfaction and product standards Requirements: • Relocation to Amarillo, TX • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or equivalent work experience • Experience running a multi-unit coffee shop or closely related service operation • At least 3 years experience managing large teams in multi-unit retail coffee shops or closely related operations • Demonstrated experience building organizations, systems, and teams in support of multi-unit operations, including appropriate metrics to measure success • Demonstrated ability in developing strategic business and marketing plans that resulted in the growth of a retail coffee oriented or closely related service operation business function • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills
