About Me:
My husband and I have 3 boys. I had been working in Early Intervention for 13 years and knew a change was needed for me and my family. A long time friend of mine was in the process of opening a coffee shop and asked me if I would like to manage the shop for her. Through much prayer, I decided to come alongside her on this journey.
About My Company:
The Bodega began in March 2019. It was created with a vision of bringing people together and coffee is people. We want to create an environment that is welcoming of all ages. The Bodega is for the young college student who needs to pop in ear buds and pound away at the keys as they are studying or working on projects. The Bodega is for the mama who is desperate for time with other moms, so they meet up in this space with their little ones and relax and share and laugh. The Bodega is for the working folks who are on the go and need that boost of caffeine in order to make it through their next meeting or deadline. The Bodega is also for the retired couple, who simply come to just be. To drink their coffee and read the paper or visit with other customers that are coming and going. The Bodega is simply, for people. And our hope is that no matter what you are coming here for, that you are filled up (in heart and with needed caffeine) and ready to go when you leave.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The people!! I love meeting new people; of all ages and from all different walks of life. I learn so much from listening to them. It has been and is a gift to my soul.
