About Me:

My coffeehouse is part of an emporium (marketplace) where I sell Birkenstock and other nice things. The building has been in my family since 1886 and I have two mortgages which I pay from income working for the public schools in Virginia. Right now I have 4 employees and am open Thursday - Sunday. Several years ago I had as many as 9 students and open 7 days. Am negotiating with one of my employees to open a cafe alongside the coffeehouse. Have recently leased space to a bookshop. I travel to the shop almost every weekend. Am crazy but committed to keeping this building in the family and to making this little town of Bloomsburg as vibrant as it has the potential to be.

About My Company:

Phillips Emporium and Coffeehouse is also a venue for artists, musicians, dancers, and actors performing on stages in the back of the coffeehouse.
