Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I am currently working towards opening my own shop, but in order to do so I need to focus on gaining experience in the process. I have never worked in the coffee industry before, which is why I went to Water Avenue Coffee for their Bellisimo Coffee Advisors workshop in order to start off on the right foot for the knowledge and skills I need for this transition.

About Me:

I am making the transition to the coffee world from the healthcare field. It has been my dream for a little over 6 years now to get out of the healthcare system and into starting my own coffee business and to chase the dreams that I have within that coffee business.

About My Company:

In short, it will be a coffee shop focused on bringing community back together again with a focus on people realizing their passions and then chasing after them.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Camaraderie between everyone in the coffee industry. From my observation, everyone wants everyone to succeed and is willing to help each other due to their equal love for coffee
