I've been employed at Espresso Vivace for 4 years and I'd love to travel and learn more about the coffee world and share some knowledge along the way.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Any world city. Really. Faves to return to would include New York, San Francisco, London, and Tokyo, but I'm not that picky. I love to travel, and would welcome the opportunity to do it more often.
About Me:
Having paid my coffee dues by working the juice & coffee counter at a natural foods co-op, and then stepping it up a bit at a local mini-chain, I was able to truly appreciate the opportunity to work with David Schomer at Espresso Vivace when I was hired 4 years ago. I've since come to feel a special kind of kinmanship with David and my fellow employees. I've come to believe that science and precision are requisite for the creation of good coffee, but at the same time I accept that the true elevation of the craft also requires a bit of an artistic touch.
