What is your position in the coffee industry?

barista, manager, coffee shop owner, coffee enthusiast

Where are you located? ( City and Country )

Stanwood, Wa (an hour N. of Seattle)

How many years have you been in the industry?

as a clueless consumer, many. As a clueless shop owner, 1.

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?

    yes

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I have a shop called Stillaguamish Coffee Co. located in Stanwood, Wa. Several things led me into this venture..my objectives have changed as I have been introduced to some novel concepts and principles regarding coffee quality and consumer habits. We have seating for about 30, free wi-fi, cozy sofas and feature Borogove Coffee. I was beyond fortunate to get re-aquainted with old party-pal and high school chum Dismas Smith. Thanks Daddy-Cool!

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

You name it - If I can make it, I'll be there.

    About Me:

I'm 35, I like long walks on the beach and listening to Bread while making out on the bearskin rug. When I'm not showing the love I am a single father of 2 and have a day job which just gets in the way of everything I really enjoy!

    About My Company:

We are located in an area that is not known for anything coffee-wise except for "you-know-who" and countless drive-thru stands. Thus, when we tout the quality of our coffee I am usually asked, "yeah - but are the chicks hot..??" *sigh.... but as time goes by we are gaining ground and introducing people to just how good coffee really can be. We support the local art community ~ I especially like to offer a place for the young disenfranchised artists to show their stuff. To me, it's a way to give back to the community. The community is a strange mix of old Scandinavians, redneck-types, and progressive forward-thinking types...they are all welcome here ~ heck, we even had a fight break out a couple weeks back! Dismas...what are you putting in this coffee..?!?!
