About Me:
As a trained, part-time Pastry Chef who has had a full-time career in the biotechnology industry for over eleven years, I have enjoyed learning from my ever-changing group of colleagues while providing life-saving products for patients throughout the world. However, I have recently cut the umbilical cord and I have wholeheartedly devoted myself to the specialty coffee industry. After successfully completing an intensive barista training course with two-time United States Barista Champion, Heather Perry, I have taken another mindful step towards the world of high-quality coffee. I have a boundless passion for all things that relate to food and science. My burgeoning obsession with coffee (and in particular, with espresso) combines the two aforementioned passions, and brings my career around full circle.
