Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

Conscious Cup is 3 years old. We roast in the cafe ... the roaster is in our front window lite by daylight floods. We have won back to back "best coffee" in the Fox Valley, Chicago's west and northwest suburbs. Our wholesale is beginning to grow. We're interested in helping others achieve success in this demanding business. My barista skills are modest as I don't work regularly behind the bar.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

All of Central America. Peru. Ethiopia. Papua New Guinea. Then, off the coffee trail, Spain, Italy and Greece.

About Me:

I'm an Air Force brat with high schools in Portland, OR, Belton, MO, and Duluth, MN. I attended U of Minnesota from '69-'73. Married to my high school sweetheart still. I've been a journalist, marketing communications consultant, marketing director and now coffee shop entrepreneur.
