Origin Coffee is an artisan coffee roasting company in Cape Town, South Africa. We have a wide range of single-origin coffees and blends available freshly roasted or to drink. We have seating for over 100, a tea house with 85 fine leaf teas, and a full barista training school.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
50 countries and counting. There is almost nowhere I am not interested in traveling to. Next targets are Ethiopia Indonesia, India, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
About Me:
I am a Canadian who spent a few years working as a program manager at Microsoft in Seattle, surrounded by some incredible artisan roasters, tea houses and micro-breweries.
About My Company:
As the artisan roasters of Africa, we are trying to bring the best of Africa to the world, and the best of the world to Africa. We supply top restaurants, cafes, hotels, game lodges, and guest houses throughout South Africa and beyond. We run a barista & tea training school where we train professionals and home fanatics. We consult on all other aspects of coffee & tea including equipment selection, menu design and service training. Our new tea house has 85 fine leaf teas and a wide range of accessories. We have 2 cafes on two floors with 3 outdoor seating areas. We also stock a wide range of home and professional coffee equipment.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The people - from the growers to the baristas to the chefs and owners to the people who drink our coffee.
