Even though I'm the manager of an independently owned shop, I DEFINITELY place myself on the newer side of things. I took one barista class at Coffeefest in DC last March but before that I was mostly self taught, & in the past year or so I've been working on latte art - thanks to a couple of helpful people and endless hours on youtube, I think I've got it down. I kinda want to get into fixing espresso machines - I'm fascinated.

I enjoy picnics, Lord of the Rings, being an idiot with my brother, good beer, cooking with my boyfriend & kicking his ass in Wii bowling. :) /dork
