I like making coffee, but loved studying botanical cultivation and economics of coffee production and trade in college.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Each, simply. My first, first place would be Ethiopia.

About Me:

I am becoming more and more interested in the cultivation side of things as I learn... coffee has the potential to be such a win-win crop-- higher green bean prices for growers and producers, and a higher quality cup for roasters and consumers-- and this is unique from almost every other crop I have studied! It continually inspires and makes me proud of my own small part.

About My Company:

I would consider myself more of a coffee mercenary than affiliated with one particular shop or roaster... :)

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The excitement of the collective community for learning and exploring how to create a better cup!
