I'm a barista with Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea in Venice, Los Angeles. I was brought on as a n00b, with no professional coffee experience but a few years under my belt as a coffee enthusiast (& an Intelligentsia enthusiast in particular).
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Seattle, Minneapolis, ... Dublin, Oslo, Berlin, ....
About Me:
I started out as a ballet dancer. (Really.) Then, I retired (at twenty!), went to college for architecture, worked as a graphic designer, designed & wrote for advertising, & finally, at long last, quit my day job & pursued my coffee dreams. What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love that it's a discipline. I learn something new & groundbreaking every single day. And I love that I get to talk to people all day long. People are amazing!
