Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Over the past 5 years I have learned how to pull the perfect shot, how to steam the perfect milk, and how to pour out graceful latte art almost every time, but the most important thing I have learned is how to deal with every type of customer. I pride myself on being the best that I can be and living each day in the moment.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would love to travel to Italy and learn about the true Italian coffee culture. My goal is to travel all over the world, learn coffee traditions and tips first hand and bring that true knowledge back to my Coffee House for all to enjoy.
About Me:
My name is Kayla I fell in love with the coffee industry when I was 17 and my passion since then has just gotten stronger. I will be opening a coffee house with my business partner early this summer (2011). I would love to someday travel all around the world and learn about the first and true coffee traditions.
About My Company:
I am in the process of opening up my own Coffee House. It will be located in Milwaukie/Oak Grove, Oregon. We will offer a full espresso menu as well as breakfast toasties,Lunch Panini's and a variety of pastries. We will have live music on the weekends and selected week nights, free WI-FI, and coffee tastings open to the public. Our opening date is still TBA but I can tell you it will be early july.
