I home roast, and have a 17 year-old Rancilio Audrey. While I can make a decent espresso, my ultimate espresso enjoyment is in sampling others' work.

I'm a passionate enthusiast who's somehow become a writer. I enjoy coffee, but I would rather have the worst cup of coffee in the world with an friend than the best with an enemy. My latest book is The Art and Craft of Coffee.

I own a company is television production and my working class roots forces me to consider ways to fund any passion.
