Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

Self-taught during stint as server in a restaurant ten years ago. Opened a cafe in 2010. Managed coffee programs at two more restaurants since and am currently working on launching a beverage program with a brand new restaurant next month. Experience with a wide variety of equipment. Started home roasting this past winter for giggles, hobbling together three versions of air popper roasters and two convection lid-style roasters.

Enjoy learning and pursuing passions. Personally driven towards minimalism, especially exploring alternative energy ideas. Hifi, local food, design, reading and writing all strike chords. I feel like this is an online dating profile now.
