Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I was trained as a barista when I was sixteen. Tamping espresso was my first job, and I've worked at three different stores since then. I have been recently hired as the director of the coffee program at a new coffee shop, and this is my first foray into management of a program instead of taking direction. It's a whole new world; I'm pretty excited about delving in. Also, very intimidated! But the DC coffee scene is very welcoming.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Anywhere! My dream job would be to work for a company like Counter Culture and visit coffee growers all over the world, particularly to Central America and various parts of Africa.
