Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My grandma had me drinking "coffee milk" before I could talk. :) I worked in the hospitality industry, brewing delicious espresso beverages and making fine food throughout my teens and then for development events for my pet nonprofits throughout my adult life. I've got a Rancilio Class 5 st rocker switch single semi automatic as well as a Jura Giga 5 fully automatic, and several different kinds of high end coffee brewers. I like a strong, bold brew, mixed with heavy cream and stevia....hot or cold, all day long.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Berkeley and all of NoCal, New York, Naples in FL, Belize, Cancun, Costa Rica. When possible, I travel by RV.
About Me:
I have been self employed since I was about 17 (I'm a 57 year old widow now). I enjoyed a good career as a writer, graphic designer, and public speaker for corporations and nonprofits. During the last few years, I trained for a later-in-life semi-retirement career as an emotional intelligence coach and personal fitness trainer. But I was the victim of a horrific crime and lost about 95% of my net worth. So I'm starting over.
About My Company:
Opening in a small west Texas city that doesn't yet have what we offer: an upscale café, an advanced gym & functional fitness center, and a performance/event venue. Our biggest challenge is that our building is a 100 year old former five and dime.
