About Me:
After working in corporate America for 20 years, I decided to branch out and start my own business. I didn't open a coffee shop out of love for coffee (although after meeting the folks at Zoka that has changed), but out of a love of the community gathering place aspect coffee shops provide.
About My Company:
Take Five is a locally owned and operated coffee shop & bar in the southern suburbs of Kansas City. We proudly serve Zoka Coffee Roasters products, and our espresso is ground fresh for each customer and pulled on a beautiful La Marzocco espresso machine. House brews are done by french press and single origin beans by pourover. Take Five is named for the jazz standard and provides a relaxed atmosphere with no TVs and free Wi-Fi, live music on the weekends and a fireplace when it's cold. Our "for here" drinks are cheaper than to-go because we want you to hang out and stay a while - in other words - Take Five.
