In the past five years, I've worked for five different coffeehouses. Each one offered a unique approach to the industry. I've trained and developed Baristas at two of these coffeehouses. I've worked with over ten different roasters. And I've had the exciting opportunity to serve four different manual brewing methods professionally (Aeropress, V60, Beehouse, Siphon).

About Me:
Hi, I'm Maxwell and I believe coffee service is as delicious and interesting as any other culinary experience. I play guitar and write songs on the side. I live in DC but would love to relocate.
About My Company:
The Velasquez' in Washington DC have done a terrific job with their first baby, Baked and Wired. Baristas there have been challenging themselves and their palettes for years, and introducing more and more regulars to the complex world of espresso and manual brew coffees. Now, they've opened a second coffeehouse named Tribaked. I've helped to prepare counter staff and Baristas alike in the preparation of V60 pourovers, steaming milk, tea service, and espresso tasting. At Tribaked, We're looking to focus on a wider variety of manual brewing methods, and introducing single origin espresso offerings.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Tasting.
