We are a small, independent coffeeshop in Damascus, Virginia. Damascus is a tiny oasis on the Appalachian Trail with an excellent little coffeeshop. While the owner is dedicated to excellent coffee and espresso, we can always learn more. I've gotten good at making lattes in a fast-paced environment for people from Raleigh, Charlotte, Richmond, and the DC area who are used to Starbucks quality, and I hope to give them something better with a more personal touch.

About Me:

35 years old. After 10 years in a high-stress job, I found myself unemployed and took a job as a "barista -- will train". Always a fan of coffee, I've enjoyed learning about coffee, espresso, and milk. I mostly love being a barista, and hope it is a skill that stays with me. When not working, I like travelling, drinking wine, hiking, drinking wine, cooking, drinking wine, my dog, drinking wine, homebrewing, drinking wine and I love my boyfriend.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Pulling a perfect espress and making a perfect latte
