What is your position in the coffee industry?

    barista

Where are you located? ( City and Country )

    Austin, TX

How many years have you been in the industry?

    4 years-on and off

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?

    yes

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I love people. I love laughter. Most of all I love coffee mixed with both of those. I have been in the coffee business on and off--one shop for 2 years, another 3rd wave for a few months, and another 3rd wave for a few months. I still have a lot to learn--and soak it up with a vengence. I want to settle down and grow old working in a shop that is awesome....

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I'm interested in Hawaii and Colorado--they seem to share the same personality that I seem to jive well with. I also would love to learn the coffee culture of Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. I'll go anywhere--as long as it is a happy place. NO ANGRY BARISTAS!!!

    About Me:

We're all connected in this huge web of life and coffee runs the motor. I'm a pretty laid back granola of a chick who *TRIES* to ride her bike everywhere, rain or shine. I feel that coffee shops fulfill their role when they are producing a amazing product that goes deeper than the cup--it supports it's growers, it brings a smiles and giggles, it promotes energy and the shouted cry of "Eureka!" I want to work with positive people using coffee as an engine bringing culture to customers' cups, eyes, and ears--as long as fun music and beautiful smiles are involved.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

I love the environmental and social connection that the artisan coffee and 3rd wave culture promotes.
