Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I worked for the Green Apron for a few years prior and in to college until the uptight corporate attitude started to be more of a hindrance than great benefits were worth. I got a barback job at Joe: the Art of Coffee on Waverly and Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village. Since then I have been given a shot as a Barista and am currently working on my reprogramming from corporate to independent Barista.

Southern California native going to school at NYU in the Food Studies department. Nothing too extreme.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The recent upturn in movement toward an industry that is obsessed with quality over size.
